History of Orange County Bankruptcy Attorney Office
Tran Bankruptcy Law was founded in 2012 by Rex Tran. However, the history of the firm goes back to 2002. This is when Rex enlisted in the United States Army Reserves as a paralegal in the JAG Corps. A year later, Michael enlisted in the Army Reserves as a paralegal as well. Both student Soldiers made their way through college and eventually Rex started law school at the California Western School of Law in 2005.
That same year, Michael deployed to Iraq for a year. After a long tedious deployment, Michael came home and started law school at Thomas Jefferson School of Law. During this time, Rex was finishing up his Juris Doctorate. However, things would change for the new graduate. He was then called up to deploy to Iraq in 2008. It just so happens, that right before his deployment, Michael transferred to Rex’s military unit, the 78th Legal Operations Detachment. Upon arrival to the 78th LOD, Michael and Rex briefly talked about their nearly identical career paths.
Eventually, Rex returned home from war and back to the 78th LOD and Michael Finished law school. From there, Michael and Rex began to plan to start Tran Bankruptcy Law.

Rex and Michael have worked in a number of positions. Their experience ranges from government work to large law firm practice. There is one thing in common that they have noticed throughout their military, civilian education, and private sector employment. Gone were the days of commitment to excellence and client/customer service. Rex and Michael decided to use the values instilled in them to serve the Orange County area. Michael and Rex formed Tran Bankruptcy Law. They wanted to help people the best they knew how.
